Coastal Program and Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program - Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Object Class Economic Evaluation

This report demonstrates that investments in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Coastal Program and Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program deliver meaningful economic benefits in addition to conserving fish and wildlife habitat. The evaluation shows that program expenditures support jobs, strengthen local economies, and generate economic activity. Although the analysis does not capture partner investments or the broader value of ecosystem services, it provides a practical framework for demonstrating the economic returns of voluntary conservation.
