If a new lynx is captured in the trap, it is sedated for a few hours while biologists collect measurements and fit it with a GPS satellite collar. This lynx is fast asleep after receiving a sedative and is gently removed from the trap. Lynx Project At Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge.
