Chloramine-T (CLT) is a powder that is applied as an immersion bath treatment. CLT is only available for purchase through Syndel USA or B.L. Mitchell, Inc. The primary goal of field studies conducted under INAD #9321 is to evaluate the efficacy of CLT for controlling mortality in a variety of freshwater fish species for bacterial diseases not currently listed on the approved label. INAD use is for non-labeled use only and all labeled use must follow the approved label. The treatment regimen is a 1-h static-bath or flow-through treatment at a dose of 10, 15, or 20 mg/L CLT, and fish may be treated 1 – 3 times on alternate or consecutive days. The Investigational withdrawal period is zero days for fish treated up to 3 days. To participate in the INAD Program for CLT visit the data collecting site.
Please read the Study Protocol prior to any treatments. It contains the protocol, MSDS, and a copy of the forms to be used as a guide for collecting data that will be entered into the online INAD database. The FDA authorization letter(s) for this INAD is currently only available by emailing Bonnie Johnson.
