We had a great time honoring our heroes at 13th Annual Wounded Warriors Fishing Event!
Twenty-six Wounded Warrior veterans joined us bright and early at 5 a.m. to embark on a striper fishing voyage on beautiful Lake Cumberland! After reeling in several keepers, participants were treated to a catered meal, gift bags, and commemorative t-shirts generously provided by the Friends of Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, Inc.! Following lunch and a patriotic ceremony performed by the DAV Honor Guard, the veterans were invited to wrap up their evening fishing for trout in the freshly stocked Hatchery Creek!
