About Michael Vargo

Michael Vargo joined the team at Quilcene National Fish Hatchery in June of 2022. Michael graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry in 2011. He has experience working for federal agencies including the National Park Service, US Bureau of Reclamation and US Army Corps of Engineers. Michael was able to combine his passion for fish and aquatic life and his experience as a federal maintenance worker in his career here at Quilcene National Fish Hatchery. Michael enjoys fishing, hiking, foraging and all things outdoor.
