Washita National Wildlife Refuge

The Centennial Trail loop begins and ends at the Centennial Trail Recreation parking area and features a hard surface trail (suitable for wheelchair access), interpretive signs and a boardwalk with an observation deck overlooking a wetland area. The Centennial Trail has been designated a National Recreation Trail

The Riverside trail is an out and back trail that begins at the Riverside Recreation Area and ends at the road to Turkey Flats Recreation Area. Bring a pair of binoculars to spot many kinds of wildlife on the trail.

You'll have an excellent view of wintering geese feeding in farm fields from the observation deck behind the refuge headquarters.

The Owl Cove trail features animal tracks for amateur sleuths to practice their track identification skills.
