Hosting more than 325,000 recreational visitors each year, Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is a popular area for hiking, fishing and watching wildlife. Partnering with the state of Rhode Island and nonprofit organizations, the refuge offers occasional archery-only deer hunts on a limited basis to targeted hunter groups.
Duck hunters are required to follow all refuge and state regulations. Below mean high water to mean low water surrounding the National Wildlife Refuge property is closed to all hunting: No hunting along shoreline.
