Notice of Availability of the Karner Blue Butterfly (Lycaeides melissa samuelis) Technical/Agency Draft Recovery Plan for Review and Comment

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announces availability for public review of a technical/agency draft recovery plan for the endangered Karner blue butterfly (Lycaeides melissa samuelis). The Karner blue butterfly is known to presently occur in seven states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, New Hampshire, New York, and Ohio, where it was recently reintroduced. The Service solicits review and comments from the public on this draft plan.
