The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service maintains and provides for public use an extensive bat literature database. While originally focused on the federally endangered Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis), wind-energy impacts and white-nose syndrome, the database also contains a growing number of papers on other North American bat species of conservation concern and a wide range of bat conservation topics. Click here for access to the USFWS' bat literature database.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Federal Highway Administration have standardized their approach to assessing impacts to Indiana bats and northern long-eared bats from highway construction and expansion projects. Click here for access to the Section 7 Consultation and Conservation Strategy.
