About John Weber

As the Field Supervisor, my primary responsibility is to support the staff of the Missouri Field Office in whatever they need. I am currently focusing on conservation banking and other mitigations solutions for endangered species as well as aquatic restoration in the diverse freshwater systems of Missouri. I am interested in the development of employees over the arc of their career, and helping folks find significance and meaning at work through conservation achievements. I delight in finding compromises that protect fragile environments and the species that depend upon them while allowing people to thrive at the same time. I've worked for NGOs, state governments, and the federal government in a variety of natural resource roles and have been with the Service in Missouri and Hawaii for 14 years.
