About Amanda Cross, Ph.D.

Dr. Amanda Cross is the Supervisor/Project Leader of the Maine Field Office. She oversees all Maine Field Office projects and staff and coordinates closely with partners throughout Maine and the Northeast. Prior to joining USFWS in 2021, Amanda directed climate and landscape planning programs for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife for nine years. Amanda’s background is in amphibian and landscape ecology, agroecosystems, transportation ecology, and collaborative planning.
