The refuge is open year-round to fishing throughout our rivers and natural oxbow lakes. Popular gamefish species include largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bream. In the spring, spawning runs of white bass in the Little and Cossatot Rivers attract many anglers. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's 30,000-acre Millwood Reservoir, located just downstream on the Little River, is another destination for many anglers.
