FWS ORUV Safety Training: Amphibious Vehicle

TARGET AUDIENCE: FWS EMPLOYEES / AFFILIATED PERSONNEL ONLY who operates Service-owned, leased, or rented amphibious vehicles. Contact your appropriate Regional Heavy Equipment Coordinator to register for the course. SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES: This course is designed to provide operators with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate an Amphibious Vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. To provide operators with the skills and knowledge necessary that will allow them to make informed decisions about their own safety, the safety of all around them and the safe operating techniques of Amphibious Vehicles. Allows attendees to demonstrate through written and actual demonstration, that they have the skills and knowledge to safely operate an Amphibious Vehicle in accordance with Service policy, manufacture specifications and industry best practices.
