Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge has prepared a draft Compatibility Determination (CD) for a subsistence cabin on the Fog River. The Service invites interested persons to review the documents and make comments on the construction of a subsistence trapping cabin on the Fog River to an individual with a long history of traditional practices in the area and whether this use is compatible with the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge Comprehensive Conservation Plan, the purposes of the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge, and the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act.
The CD is available online below, and hard copies are available at 807 Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy, Bethel Alaska.
Comments will be accepted through July 3, 2026, and can be submitted as follows:
