Thurston County Roads HCP and Draft EAS Now Available, Public Comment Period Opening
A Notice of Availability for a Habitat Conservation Plan for the Yelm subspecies of Mazama pocket gopher (Thomomys mazama yelmensis) for Steilacoom Road Infrastructure Improvements and Marvin Road and Mullen Road Intersection Infrastructure Improvements in Thurston County, Washington is now available along with a draft Environmental Action Statement.
Publication in the Federal Register on Wednesday, July 20 will open up a 30-day public comment period. Read the Federal Register notice.
NOTE: this is separate from the Thurston County HCP, which covers unincorporated land across Thurston County.
