Service Announces Availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report for the Llano Seco Riparian Sanctuary Unit Restoration and Pumping Plant/Fish Screen Facility Protection Plant Project
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service today announced the availability of the final environmental impact statement and environmental impact report (EIS/EIR) for the Llano Seco Riparian Sanctuary Unit Restoration and Pumping Plant/Fish Screen Facility Protection Project. This project is located in California’s Glenn and Butte counties.
The Service and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) are the federal and state lead agencies for the proposed project. The project includes riparian riparian

The notice will publish in the Federal Register on March 15, 2013. The draft EIS/EIR was available for public review and comment between May 4, 2012, and June 25, 2012. We received four comment letters on the draft EIS/EIR. We modified the final EIS/EIR in response to several comments.

We will make a decision no sooner than 30 days after the publication of the final EIS/EIR. Copies of the final EIS/EIR are also available at the following locations:
