DIRECTOR WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES $10 MILLION TO STATES FOR CLEAN VESSEL ACT GRANT PROGRAM

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Steve Williams announced today $10 million in Clean Vessel Act Pumpout Program grants from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to 27 states. Participating states will use these grant funds to construct, develop and maintain sewage pumpout facilities for recreational boaters and for programs that educate boaters about the importance of properly disposing of their sewage.
