About Rebekah Ewing

Rebekah Ewing is a Biological Sciences Technician at Erwin National Fish Hatchery. Rebekah received her B.S. in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from North Carolina State University in 2020, and received her M.S. in Biology from Appalachian State University in 2022. Rebekah worked as a technician at the NC State mussel propagation facility while completing her Bachelor’s degree, and was a Pathways intern at the Asheville Ecological Services Field Station while working on her Master’s. Rebekah serves as the coordinator for endangered mussel work at Erwin NFH, and is also the volunteer coordinator. She began working at Erwin in February 2023.
