The Refuge is open 365 days a year from dawn to dusk. The Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
The Visitor Center is a great place to start your visit. It is connected to the main upper parking lot and has knowledgeable volunteers, an exhibit hall, nature store, accessible bathrooms and a bottle filling water fountain.
When you're ready to head onto the trail, this is the trailhead for both of our trails, located adjacent to the main upper parking lot, next to the Education Shelter and bathrooms.
