Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge offers a wide variety of interpretive and educational programs.  Most are open to the public for no cost and do not require pre-registration.

Bird walks are scheduled weekly year-round and twice weekly during the warmer months.  During June, July, and August, a full schedule of programs is available for the public.

Programs are coordinated by staff shared with Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge.  For detailed program information, visit the Alligator River NWR Ranger-led programs page.
