Education programs at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge

The Coastal Wildlife Refuge Society offers educational opportunities for K-12 grades, providing educational grants to schools in Eastern North Carolina. Guided canoe tours and Refuge programs on topics including sea turtles, bird adaptations, and animals found in the sound are available during the summer months.

The Environmental Education Program is coordinated by shared staff with Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. For details, visit the Alligator River NWR School Programs page.
