Year-round fishing is permitted on the Deep Fork River and the Montezuma Creek fishing area, Fishing is allowed March 1-October 31 on the sloughs, farm ponds and impoundments not connected to the Deep Fork River. Primary fishing is bank and small-boat fishing in the Deep Fork River for channel catfish, blue catfish, flathead catfish, crappie, white bass and largemouth bass. Trot lines, jug lines, limb lines and yo-yos are allowed only on the Deep Fork River. Bow fishing is allowed during daylight hours from March 1-September 30.
