The refuge provides several accessible options to get outside.
Freeland Boardwalk is a half mile loop boardwalk that offers nice views of the surrounding mountains and leads you through a variety of different habitats such as wet field, shrubland, beaver ponds, and balsam fir swamp.
Laurel Landing Accessible Canoe/Kayak Launch is located at the end of Camp 70 road.
Two accessible hunt blinds are available during the hunt season. One is located off of Plant Road and the other is located off of Timberline Road. Learn how you can reserve a hunt blind.
