Tribal anglers stand on wooden platforms along the bank of Icicle Creek to fish for spring Chinook salmon

We raise and release juvenile spring Chinook and coho salmon, which supports sport and tribal fisheries on Icicle Creek. The sport fishing (Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife license) area and the tribal fishing (Colville Confederated Tribes and Yakama Nation) area can be accessed from the hatchery boat launch off of East Leavenworth Road.

Please respect all local, state, national, and tribal rules, laws, and regulations while fishing at the hatchery. Show respect for both the wildlife and fellow anglers, and remember to pack it in, pack it out. When a fishery is open, the fishing areas are accessible 24 hours a day; but remember that there is no overnight parking or camping on the property. Alcohol and firearms are prohibited on federal government property, including the fishing areas.
