Join us for Volunteer Interest day to learn about volunteering at Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. Refuge volunteers are vital to the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge's mission. Volunteers contribute hundreds of hours each year to help meet this mission. We have a range of opportunities from working with people to working with habitats. We look for volunteers that can help out for a day a week or one day a month for a minimum of 3-4 months before they move on. If you have a desire to help, we need you! We hope you’ll join us! The best way to find out about current opportunities is to contact the refuge and let us know if any of the following are of interest to you!
9:30am-10:30am- Introduction to the refuge & overview of volunteer opportunities.
10:30am-11:00am- Meet and greet with staff, current, and interested volunteers
11:00am-noon- Guided activities with a ranger and volunteers
