Queer Hikes: Par 4 at San Diego National Wildlife Refuge

A nature walk for all people who seek non-judgemental community, if you identify as LGBTQIA+ or not. Queer Hikes Returns with a nature-based walk at San Diego National Wildlife Refuge Leaders: Nancy Fernandez, Ben Martin and Ariana Lambert Meet 10-15 minutes before for check-in. Trail length: 2 miles Trail is moderate with an elevation gain of 1400 feet. (The Alltrails description underestimates the gain of this trail) The Par 4 Trail will spans open grasslands and coastal sage scrub, providing ample birdwatching opportunities. The trail is packed dirt with at least one rocky section. Load up your phone with iNaturalist, Merin ID, and eBird so we can learn as we walk through this habitat.
