Pollinator Day

Join us at the Refuge's Visitor Center for our Pollinator Day Event with fun hands-on activities and crafts related to local pollinators!

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Refuge will be hosting ongoing pollinator-related activities including indoor and outdoor scavenger hunts, sweep netting for insects, and multiple craft options including mosaic butterfly wings and solitary bee homes.

Special presentations throughout the day will also include bird photography workshops at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., led by a local photographer, and pollinator seed ball demonstrations every hour starting at 10 a.m. Participants will take home their own pollinator seed ball at the end of the demonstration.
