Introduction to Birdwatching

Bill Gette, David Williams, and Doug Chickering of Friends of Parker River NWR – all experienced field trip leaders and lecturers – will conduct an Introduction to Birdwatching field trip at the Hellcat Wildlife Observation Area on September 11. During this program, we will practice the observation skills discussed during the Introduction to Birdwatching lecture of September 7. The field trip leaders will have telescopes, a limited number of binoculars participants can borrow, and field guides.

Participants need not have attended the September 7 program to join in and benefit from this field trip.

This is a FREE program. Registration is required. To register, please send an email to friends@parkerriver.org, use the subject “Intro Lecture,” and enter your full name in the text.
