Meet us at the fishing pier behind the recreation center at Powderhorn Park to practice your fishing skills or learn how to cast for the first time! We will have rods and bait available for loan or bring your own. All ages welcome, and no license needed!

Activity Level: Easy-active. We will be fishing from the pier and/or the shore.

What to Bring: Clothing and shoes you can comfortably move around in. This is an outdoor program. Sun protection, bug spray and water are recommended. All fishing equipment and bait will be provided. Event is weather dependent and will be cancelled in event of rain.
Accessibility: Restrooms available inside the Recreation Center. Paved trail along waters edge and fishing pier accessible to wheelchairs.
Program Leader: This program is led by refuge staff and volunteers.
