Dark Skies Astronomy Program

Join members of the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club to take in the wonder of the night sky and learn about the importance of dark skies for migratory wildlife. Volunteers will set up telescopes for viewing stars, planets, nebula, and more.

*Note: This is a special after hours program. Please be sure to arrive no later than 5:45 or the gate will be locked. We will be viewing the night sky from the sub-headquarters area on the refuge which can be chilly and exposed to wind off the salt marsh salt marsh
Salt marshes are found in tidal areas near the coast, where freshwater mixes with saltwater.
