Discover the winger of nature. Learn something new! Cure your cabin fever! Join us for three fun, family-friendly, free nature films at the Pines Performance Center at the Erickson Center for the Arts. On Thursday, March 7 we will be showing Leave it to Beavers. Once valued for their fur or hunted as pests, these industrious rodents are seen in a new light through the eyes of beaver enthusiasts who reveal the ways in which the presence of beavers can transform and revive landscapes. The film is 31 minutes followed by a question and answer session by Sara Siekierski, the Refuge Manager. This program is brought to you by the Friends of Seney National Wildlife Refuge, the Erickson Center for the Arts, and Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Thursday, March 14 we will be showing Defending the Dark. Thursday, March 21 we will be showing Rhythms of the Refuge. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the film starts at 6:30 p.m.
