2024 Spring BioBlitz at Seney National Wildlife Refuge - Earth Day Celebration

Seney National Wildlife Refuge is conducting a BioBlitz the month of April. We will be celebrating Earth Day a little early this year so members of the public can participate on Saturday, April 20, 2024. A BioBlitz is an event where people go out onto the land and observe as many living things as possible. We will be using an app called iNaturalist to make observations. Although anyone is welcome to attend, people with a special interest in photography and citizen science are the targets of this activity. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you cannot make it for the entire day, that is OK. When we break for lunch people can depart and we can welcome newcomers.
