Summary and Objectives:
The DOI READ Intermediate course provides extensive information on the legal frameworks used to support and guide recommendations a Resource Advisor may give to an Incident Command in order to protect or mitigate damage to natural and cultural resources.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify a broad spectrum of natural and cultural resources that are relevant to a hazard incident without respect to geography.
- Identify the information you need to make assessments.
- Identify and provide guidance on relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks to inform Incident Command decisions.
- Provide time sensitive assessments (evaluations) and/or recommendations.
It is highly recommended that you complete DOI Resource Advisor (READ) Basic Course prior to taking this course.
