Port Clinton Lakefront Preserve Beach Cleanup

Join staff and volunteers of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and the City of Port Clinton for a Beach Cleanup at Port Clinton Lakefront Preserve! The event will take place on Tuesday, May 21st from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. We will meet at the lighthouse at Waterworks Park (205 E Perry St. Port Clinton) and walk along the beach, picking up any trash we encounter along the way. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. Supplies such as gloves, bags, and trash pickers will be provided. Ages 15 and under require a guardian to be present. Call (419) 898-0014 for more information and to register.

This event is part of our recurring beach cleanups, usually scheduled on the second Saturday of every month. Keep an eye out for future volunteer events to earn service hours while helping us keep plastic waste and other litter off of our beaches and out of our waterways and local communities!
