Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery Attends South Central KY Outdoor Expo

Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery attended the South Central Kentucky Outdoorsman’s Expo in Columbia, KY. This two-day event is for all individuals who enjoy the great outdoors. The event had good participation with approximately 1500 in attendance. 

Environmental Education/Outreach Specialists, Makenzie Foster and Marsha Hart, interacted with several of the event's attendees, many of them recalling stories of past visits to the hatchery and attending our fishing derbies. Some people were interested in our stockings and used our stocking map for reference, and kids and adults alike enjoyed the photo props. Keychains, notepads, rulers and coloring sheets were given away to promote the hatchery.
