Future Wildlife Refuge Management Practices to be Discussed at Workshops
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is hosting two public workshops this month to further develop a Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP)/Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Texas Chenier Plain National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The documents will guide management practices at the Anahuac, McFaddin, Texas Point and Moody refuges for the next 15 years. At the workshops, interested members of the public will work with planners to review and help refine draft alternatives for management of the Refuge Complex.
