The Board will review and discuss requests for reconsideration of decisions that were made at an April 1993 Board meeting. The decisions being reconsidered were included as part of the 1993-94 Federal Subsistence Management Regulations.
The requests for reconsideration include:
- customary and traditional use determinations in portions of Denali National Park and Preserve; - deer harvest regulations in Game Management Unit (GMU)4; - moose harvest regulations in GMU 25(D)(West); - lynx harvest regulations in GMUs 12 and 20(E); - salmon fishing regulations for the Toklat River, north of Denali National Park and Preserve.

The Board is chaired by an Alaska representative of the Secretary of the Interior. Other members are the Alaska directors of the Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Regional Forester of the USDA Forest Service. The Board has management responsibilities for subsistence activities on federal public land in Alaska.
