About Matthew Stuber

Matt’s first federal jobs were with the U.S. Geological Survey – at the Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center. He spent his early years collecting data for USGS scientists who were working to assess the impacts of water management practices on aquatic vegetation and the impacts of pollutants on avian species. It was these jobs that cemented Matt’s desire to work in the field of wildlife research and management. Matt received his Bachelor’s Degree of Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and his Master’s Degree of Science from Boise State University. Matt joined the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2009 in the East Lansing Field Office (Midwest Region). In 2012, he accepted a position in the Idaho Fish and Wildlife Office in the Pacific Region.
