We host a variety of programs on the refuge at our visitor centers and trail heads. Learn something new or meet new people at a program that fits your interest. We partner with local organizations and have talented volunteers that lead many of our programs in addition to staff led talks and walks.

Summer Interpretive Programs

Join our park rangers for programming opportunities all summer long at the Bloomington Visitor Center and Old Cedar Avenue trailhead in Bloomington, MN and at the Rapids Lake Visitor Center in Carver, MN! Ranger-led walks, overlook talks that focus on amazing animals that inhabit this area, or stories from area's rich local history, will be offered Thursday-Sunday beginning June 16.  No reservations are required.

In response to CDC and local guidance for COVID-19, indoor programs and events have been suspended until further notice. Virtual and outdoor programs are listed on the events page.
