CondorKids was established in partnership with the Santa Barbara Zoo under the direction of the Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership in 2014. In collaboration with education professionals from Fillmore Unified School District and Ventura County, CondorKids offers award winning 3rd grade curriculum in line with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards. The partnership began piloting 7th grade Next Generation Science Standards curriculum in 2020. All curriculum and resources are available online on the CondorKids Website. The CondorKids 3rd curriculum, created in partnership with the Santa Barbara Zoo, is the 2016 winner of the California Superintendent's Awards for Excellence in Museum Education Competition. The program features a 27-lesson plan curriculum to third grade teachers, which is free and available for download here by educators worldwide.

The CondorKids 7th grade curriculum, created in partnership with the Santa Barbara Zoo, is designed to meet Next Generation Science Standards and introduce conservation careers to students. The program features a 16-lesson plan curriculum utilizing Google Earth and condor GPS data, which is free and available for download here by educators worldwide.
