Tours
Havasu Refuge offers guided tours once a month on the second Tuesday of the month from October to April from 8 to 10 am. The tours begin at the North Dike parking lot and follow the dike road through restored marsh, cottonwood/willow and mesquite habitat. Guests will learn about the plants and animals that call the refuge home and get a sneak peek on some of the refuge efforts to conserve this precious resource.
Directions to North Dike
From I-40 take the J Street exit in Needles, California turn on J street (If coming from I-40 south bound turn left on to J - street if coming from I-40 north bound turn right on to J - street) turn left on Broadway, turn right on Needles Highway, turn left on Hwy 95 (cross bridge into Arizona), turn right on Courtwright Road, continue for 5.1 miles turn right at Pintail Slough/ North Dike sign continue for 0.7 miles to North Dike parking lot.
