Friends of Trempealeau Refuge

Friends groups play a critical role in helping the public understand the importance of protecting and preserving refuges. They provide critical support by volunteering, raising funds, and educating the public. The Friends promote public awareness and appreciation of the refuge; foster thoughtful, appropriate, and compatible public use and enjoyment of refuge lands; and support environmental education and interpretation programs that benefit citizens of all ages and abilities.
