Clallam County Parks

Clallam County Parks department was established in 1941, six years after Camp David Jr. was deeded to the County and became the first county park. Starting with the nine-acre outdoor recreation camp, the current Parks, Fair and Facilities Department has grown to include twenty-two parks, County Fairgrounds, and five building complexes, including the historic Clallam County Courthouse, Veterans Center, and other facilities.

A total of over 760 acres of recreational and County administrative property is managed and maintained by the Parks, Fair, and Facilities staff.

Through the tireless efforts of the County Commissioners, Employees, and Volunteers, Clallam County provides outstanding recreational opportunities, fabulous County Fair, and countless resources for county resident and visitor enjoyment.
