Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge Public Comments on Minnesota Valley State Trail Right-of-Way

A 45-day comment period for Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge’s Environmental Assessment and Compatibility Determination for issuing right-of-way permits to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the Minnesota Valley State Trail concluded May 29, 2022. The Environmental Assessment and Compatibility Determination evaluate the effects associated with issuing right-of-way permits for the state trail on the refuge to ensure these activities are compatible with the purpose of the refuge.

Public comments have been incorporated into the Environmental Assessment and Compatibility Determination. All public comments, responses and summaries are now available to view via the link below. Printed copies of the Environmental Assessment and Compatibility Determination can be made available by request through emailing minnesotavalley@fws.gov
