Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act of 2006 Report to Congress: Progress 1990-2010

The Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act, reauthorized in 1998 and again in 2006, included a requirement that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service submit a report that describes actions taken to solicit and review proposals to restore fish and wildlife in the Great Lakes, the results of proposals implemented and progress toward accomplishment of the goals Congress provided for the Service’s activities in the Great Lakes. This report documents the progress that the Service and our Great Lakes partners have made through 2010 and highlights many (74 completed projects and 36 projects in progress) of the fish and wildlife restoration success stories made possible through the Act.
