Species that are considered uncertain risk need a more in-depth assessment beyond the Risk Summary to better define the species’ risk to U.S. environments.
Pangasius lithostoma is a species of catfish native to a single river in on the western side of the island of Borneo. The history of invasiveness is no known nonnative population. No records of introduction were found and there is no indication that the species is in trade. The climate match was low. However, confidence in the climate match results is reduced because there were no georeferenced observations available to use as source points. The certainty of assessment is low. The overall risk assessment category is uncertain.
