Biologist retrieves red-cockaded woodpecker chicks

Field Biologist Chis Melder, Center for the Environmental Management of Military Lands, retrieves red-cockaded woodpecker chicks from a nest for banding and data collection near Fort Polk, Louisiana, May 26, 2022.
