2026 DLWMD Haying Opportunities

The Detroit Lakes Wetland Management District (WMD) is offering, to all eligible applicants, an opportunity to enter into a Cooperative Agricultural Agreement (CAA) to conduct haying on Hamden Slough National Wildlife Refuge and various Waterfowl Production Areas. Haying will be used to manage the grassland habitat and improve conditions for nesting waterfowl.
