Facility Rules and Policies

Welcome, we are glad you've decided to visit us at Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery! To ensure your visit is informative, fun, and safe please abide by the following policies listed below.

Parking on Hatchery Grounds

1. The public is allowed to park in the designated parking areas along the side of the main office building next to the facility entrance gate. 

2. No motorized or manual civilian vehicles are allowed past the visitor parking areas or the barrier gate.  

Touring Hatchery Grounds

1. Visitors can self-tour the hatchery grounds in designated areas. The areas open for self-guided tours are the outdoor kiosks and outdoor raceway areas. 

2. When observing the outdoor raceway areas, please stay within the chain link fenced enclosure, remain on the concrete walkways at all times. Do not place objects into raceways, and be mindful as you move down the concrete raceways. 

3. Children must be accompanied by adults when visiting hatchery grounds at all times. Be mindful of the deep water areas within the raceways and tanks. 

3. If present, keep pets on a leash at all times. Do not allow pets to interact with the fish species on hatchery grounds.

4. Please no drones, or flash, or underwater photography of the species raised at the hatchery. 

5. Questions can be answered by staff or visitors can check with the main office for additional maps and brochures.
