Trails

The Hatchery walking trail goes around our fish production pond to our observation deck. There are many wildlife that utilize our fish production ponds. Canadian geese, Great Blue Heron, Snowy Egret, Wood Storks and Alligators are just a few of the many species visiting our station.

The observation walk begins at the aquarium parking lot at the lower office. From aquarium parking lot, the fish production road is the fish ponds. Picnic tables and outdoor education area are along the trail. Follow the trail around the fish production ponds past the fish house to the main station reservoir. At the back of the reservoir is our observation deck. From the observation deck the road will bring you back to the aquarium parking lot.
